Hi, I’m Tomislav – but most people just call me Tom. By day, I work a regular corporate job, but by night (and often early mornings), you’ll find me in the kitchen, covered in flour and testing new recipes.

Baking has been a part of my life since childhood. Some of my earliest memories are standing on a chair in my grandma’s kitchen, watching her knead dough or carefully measuring out sugar and butter with my mom.

This blog, The Daily Bakes, is my way of keeping that tradition alive and sharing it with you. Here you’ll find recipes that feel familiar, but also new ideas I’ve picked up along the way. From simple breads and cookies to cakes that make any day special, I try to keep my baking easy, honest, and fun.

One day, I dream of opening my own bakery—a cozy place where the smell of fresh bread and pastries welcomes people inside. Until then, this space is my little corner of the internet to share the recipes I love, the lessons I’ve learned, and maybe even a few stories from my kitchen adventures.
